Slinger
Slinger trucks (conveyor trucks) use a rear-mounted conveyor belt instead of a traditional dump bed, allowing them to precisely place material like sand, gravel, or aggregate exactly where it's needed — even in hard-to-reach spots. The conveyor can throw material 20-30 feet or more, so crews can fill trenches, spread material behind fences, over ditches, or into backyards without ever having to drive the truck onto the site itself. This precision placement means less hand shoveling, less wasted material, and significantly less site disturbance compared to a standard dump truck. Slinger trucks are especially valuable on tight-access sites, landscaping jobs, and utility work where getting material to the exact spot matters as much as getting it there fast. Including a slinger truck in your project scope saves labor hours and keeps material placement clean and accurate.
